Ira is Associate General Counsel for Kabam, Inc., a world leader in AAA mobile free-to-play games, valued at $1 billion. She is lead transactional counsel for the company’s business ventures, including Hollywood franchise licensing, publishing, business development, financings and business acquisitions.
Ira previously worked at Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA), where she oversaw the company’s marketing, promotions and ad campaigns, advised on intellectual property matters, including clearance for games and game assets, and provided transactional support for the PlayStation family of products. Prior to joining SCEA, Ira served as Assistant General Counsel at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., where she advised on marketing and ecommerce issues, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, data collection and privacy matters for the company’s portfolio of brands. Ira previously practiced at the law firms of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, managing mergers and acquisitions, venture financings, public and private securities offerings and capital market transactions. She received her law degree from New York University School of Law and B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley.
